Brides come in all shapes and sizes and I try not to make fun of anyone for that. But people who have made bad choices in life are fair game. If you decided to get a $50 tattoo in 1993 and ten years later you aren't going to cover it up for your wedding, I am going to make fun of you. That is just how life works.
